FITNESS REVOLUTION: PRIMATE
Many have their own theories on how the world began, with
different theories and thoughts of the primate being the first hominoid beings
of existence and are part of the homo sapien history has become a consistent theme of
our existence. These beings had much less priorities then we have in our
current society as well as they had to focus on less things than those that
overconsume us today. One important factor to notice of the differences between
the primate living and ours is the subject of fitness.
·
Physical development became vital need for
survival
Physical development became a
vital need for survival in the primate times as they needed this development
for the activities and the experiences that they had to go through. Food was
more to give them energy to be able to survive and their physical fitness
helped them to go through nature using their physical abilities.
·
Movement was a demand of tools , nature , defense
Movement
became an expression of the nature of their lives, as they needed many tools
for their survival needs either to protect themselves through defense or
getting access to food in nature.
·
Basic movements of walk, balance , jump , crawl
,climb , carry , lift , throw, fight
The basic movements that became
part of their lifestyle was that of being able to walk far distances, good
enough balance to run and to be able to jump. They could also crawl, climb
mountains and different terrains, carry whatever was of need for their survival,
as well as they possessed the strength to lift things , throw objects and to
fight when they needed to protect themselves
·
Structured fitness programs did not exist
Primates did not need a structured fitness programs for their physical and health development as none
of that would of made sense to them because of the natural active lifestyle
that they were already living, the fact that it has become a demand shows how
far we have gone as a human species.
·
Physical development was part of a daily lifestyle
Physical development was a ritual
lifestyle for them and they had understood the basics of needing food for
energy to survive for days as well as they needed to be active in order to make
use of the energy that they had acquired.
